Information reaching us makes it known that,former wrestler,Daffney Unger has reportedly passed away at the age of 46.
The former wrestling star Daffney Unger is well known for her time with WCW and (TNA) Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
According to police reports,she died from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest .
The 46-year-old Daffney Unger appeared on her IG Live the night before she was found dead.
On Thursday, in what appeared to be a suicidal state,she said,
“Do you guys not understand that I am all alone? Do you not understand that?” And then she said, “Remember, my brain goes to Boston”
The Police went to Daffney Unger’s home in Norcross, for a welfare check.
According to the police report, they were met by Daffney’s mom, Jean.
There was no answer when they knocked at the door .They left without trying to gain entry.
For the second time,a few hours later,they were back.This time around they saw Daffney’s car parked near the apartment.
A key was handed over to the cops by a maintenance man but it didn’t unlock the deadbolt.
The fire department was then called and they broke the door open and there found Daffney’s body on her bed wit a gunshot wound to her chest and a gun within reach.
The cause of the death is yet to be known by the medical examiner .
However,Daffney Unger was battling with mental health issues before her death.
She had urged others who were in the same predicament to get help.
