Eve Alda is the daughter of Alan Alda and Arlene Alda. She is a producer, known for producing the short comedy Francis in 2018. Eve Alda’s father is an American actor, screenwriter, and director. A six-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner, he is best known for playing Captain Benjamin “Hawkeye” Pierce in the war comedy-drama television series M*A*S*H.

Alan’s father Robert Alda was an actor and a singer while his mother, Joan Browne Alda was a homemaker and a former beauty pageant winner. Because of his father’s job, Alan spent his childhood traveling around the United States with his parents.
Alan’s father was of Italian descent and his mother was of Irish ancestry.

Eve’s father attended Archbishop Stepinac High Schoolin White Plains, New York. He also attended Fordham University in the Bronx where he studied English.
