Liana Dimbleby is the spouse of retired English actor Malcolm Hebden. Liana Dimbleby married Malcolm Hebden in 2009. The couple was in a long-term relationship before getting married. Family, friends, and relations were present at their wedding however, there is no information of the two having kids. The pair is happily married and enjoying their married life.
Liana Dimbleby’s husband was born in Chester, United Kingdom, on December 21, 1939. He is currently 83 years old, as of 2022 and by nationality, holds American citizenship, and is of white ethnic background. He attended West Gate High School. He and his family moved to Burnley, Lancashire where he work as a window dresser, Burnley and at age 28, he also attended the Rose Bruford Drama School in London. However, he found school difficult due to “severe dyslexia”.
Hebden got included in amateur dramatics groups or organizations, one of which included Richard Moore, called The Highcliffe Players. He started a career in theatre and first appeared in Coronation Street as Mavis Riley’s (Thelma Barlow) Spanish boyfriend Carlos from (1974 -1975). He also portrayed Norris Cole in the year 1994 and he left in 1997. He was back to the role in December 1999 and made an appearance in the initial episode of the first series of Heartbeat and the sixteenth episode of the ninth series.

Liana Dimbleby’s husband also made a short and energetic appearance as a pharmacist in the television film Lost for Words, alongside Pete Postlethwaite, Anne Reid, and Thora Hird in 1999. He also has been on film along with his business partner Barbara Knox (Rita Sullivan). He appeared in Last of the Summer Wine before he appeared in Last of the Summer Wine.
Hebden won the Funniest Character category at the Inside Soap Awards( 2001 and 2002) for two consecutive years and also won the Best Onscreen Partnership award at the British Soap Awards in May 2006 alongside his on-screen business partner Barbara Knox (Rita Sullivan).
Dimbleby’s husband suffered from a heart attack in December 2017 and was missing from Coronation Street from December 2017 to April 2019. In March 2019, it was announced that Hebden would return briefly in May 2019.
Hebden made his final appearance in June 2020 and in January 2021, he announced his retirement from acting, at the age of 81, due to ill health.
