Lark Brynner was born in 1959.Lark Brynner’s father is Yul Brynner and his mother is Frankie Tilden. Lark’s father, Yuliy Borisovich Briner known as Yul Brynner was an actor/singer, director, and humanitarian. He was also an active photographer and wrote two books.
He also did some modeling work and was photographed nude by George Platt Lynes.
Brynner wrote Bring Forth the Children: A Journey to the Forgotten People of Europe and the Middle East (1960), with photographs by himself and Magnum photographer Inge Morath, and The Yul Brynner Cookbook: Food Fit for the King and You (1983 ISBN 0-8128-2882-8).

Lark Brynner is among the children of Yul Brynner. Lark Brynner’s father was born on 11 July 1920, in Vladivostok, Russian Far Eastern Republic, of Swiss, German, and Russian descent.
He has won numerous awards including, The King and I, for which he won two Tony Awards, and later an Academy Award for Best Actor for the film adaptation and more.
Yul Brynner got married four times and in his first three marriages, he got divorced. He fathered five children, three children biological and two adopted.
He got married to his first wife actress Virginia Gilmore from 1944 to 1960 and they gave birth to a child, Yul “Rock” Brynner. He got married to his second wife Chilean model, Doris Kleiner from 1960 to 1967 and they also had one child, Victoria Brynner.
He married his third wife, Jacqueline Simone Thion de la Chaume, and adopted two children, Mia and Melody. Brynner then got married to his fourth and final wife, Kathy Lee. However, Brynner had fathered a daughter, Lark Brynner, with Frankie Tilden.
In December 1941, Brynner made his first Broadway performance which was a small part in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and among other acting periods, he co-starred in a 1946 production of Lute Song with Mary Martin.
He also worked as a director at the new CBS television studios, directing Studio One among other shows. He also auditioned for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s new musical in New York.

Yul Brynner shaved his head in 1951. He had his head shaved for his role in The King and I. Brynner continued to shave his hair after the massive success of the Broadway production and subsequent films. For certain roles Brynner played, he wore a wig.
Brynner had lung cancer and died of it on October 10, 1985, at New York Hospital. Brynner was buried on the grounds of the Saint-Michel-de-Bois-Aubry Orthodox monastery, near Luzé, between Tours and Poitiers in France. He died at the age of 65.
