Francesca Hetfield is the wife of James Alan Hetfield who is a well-known American musician, lead vocalist, and co-founder of the Metallica heavy metal band. She is an Argentina-born American outfit designer who rose to fame after meeting her husband James Hetfield.

Francesca Hetfield was born Francesca Tomasi on the 27th January 1970 in Rosaria, Argentina. She later relocated to live in the United States. Francesca attended her high school in Rosario and started working as a waitress in a bar close to her home. She attended Overland High School for her high school diploma and completed her diploma in the late 80s.
Francesca worked as a security guard in Denver and was later hired as a member of Metallica’s team on their “Wherever I May Roam” promotional tour in the early 1990s. She launched her job as a customer, working for Metallica for several years as a costume designer and wardrobe assistant for the band’s members.
Francesca Hetfield did her job well on several occasions and also perform her task well when the band embarked on their Wherever We May Roam tour. The tour lasted for 14 months as it touched down in various cities in North America and Europe. As a costume designer, Francesca did her best and contributed to its success.

Francesca Hetfield met her husband James Hetfield during the time she was working as the costume designer for the Metallica band while they were on a tour,’ Wherever We May’. Her husband was also touring the globe with his bandmates at that time. Francesca and James have been together for about thirty years since 1992.
Francesca’s husband was born on August 3, 1963 in Downey, California, to Cynthia Bassett, a light opera singer, and Virgil Lee Hetfield, a truck driver. Francesca’s husband was just nine years old when started piano lessons and was in a few bands as a teenager, one being Leather Charm, and another, Obsession. He got ranked at No. 8 in Joel McIver’s book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists and No. 24 by Hit Parader on their list of the 100 Greatest Metal Vocalists of All Time.
Francesca Hetfield and her husband James got engaged and later married on the 17th of August 1997 after which they embarked on a honeymoon and returned to continue with life. The couple have three children together, two daughters and a Son.
The couple had their first child, a daughter named Cali Tee, born on the 13th of June 1998. Their second child is Castor Virgil Hetfield, who was also born on the 18th of May 2000. And finally the third child, Marcella Francesca was born on the 17th of January 2002.
