Popular American rapper/songwriter,Kanye Omari West known by many as Kanye West has announced the released date of his album.
The influential Rapper has recently confirmed the date he is releasing his new album dubbed Donda.
Apart from being a well known rapper and a songwriter, Kanye West is a record producer,a fashion designer and a businessman as well.
Kanye West’s new album,’Donda ‘ will add up to be his tenth studio album.
Since the release of West’s Jesus Is King, gospel album in 2019,Donda is Kanye West’s first album .
The album attained its name from the mother of Kanye West. The album was name after his late mother.The mother of Kanye West was Donda West. She died at the age of 58.
The influential singer has scheduled the released date of the album to be August 5, 2021.
The album was initially postponed. The released date of the album was supposed to be on July 24, 2020.News went viral that the album has been rescheduled for release on July 23, 2021.The album was not released on the July 23,2021 as it was not confirmed by Kanye West as well.
The American singer and rapper, Kanye has taken to his official Instagram page to finally drop the release date of the much-anticipated album.
Kanye West was off Instagram for months after his wife Kim Kardashian filed for a divorce.He later returned to Instagram on the 21 July.
According to him, the new album, Donda will be released on August 5, 2021.
He wrote, ‘DONDA 08-05-2021” and also added a loading symbol on an all-white backdrop.
His post has garnered over 1.3 million hearts within a short period of time.
The People magazine have noted that, Kanye west will be holding an album release party for the album, Donda at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 5 .
