English singer-songwriter,Edward Christopher Sheeran MBE is among the latest celebrities who have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Ed Sheeran has currently contracted the COVID-19 virus.Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the first celebs to confirm that they had contracted the virus in March 2020.
Following that several other stars have also come forward to share and announce their stories about testing positive.
The singer and songwriter took to his social media to announce he has COVID-19.
The “Perfect” composer took to his verified Instagram handle on Sunday October 24 to announce that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
The “Bad Habits” singer disclosed that he’d be following government guidelines and self-isolating as a result of the positive test.
In a post he shared,he wrote,
Hey guys. Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines. It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone x
His fans have also expressed their worry encouraging him to stay safe and get well soon.
