Camelia Donnelly’s brother was born Declan Joseph Oliver ‘Dec’ Donnelly on 25 September 1975, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He enrolled at St Michael’s Roman Catholic Primary School, as well as enrolled at the all-boys St Cuthbert’s High School, and got 8 GCSEs.

Camelia Donnelly’s brother had his TV career commenced at age 12. Declan Donnelly’s father was the one who suggested that he audition for Byker Grove which was advertised in local newspapers, a new children’s television program being created by CBBC in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Declan Donnelly secured the role of Duncan, whereupon he first met Anthony McPartlin and they worked together on the show until eventually departing in 1993 and bonded as friends, socially and professionally.
The two, Declan and McPartlin became famous in the children’s drama series Byker Grove as well as established a successful career as TV presenters. They are greatly recognized for presenting SMTV Live between the years 1998 to 2001, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (since 2002), and Britain’s Got Talent (since 2007).
