He is best known for his hosting Double Dare for Nickelodeon, Unwrapped for Food Network, and as the executive producer for both Dinner: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible also for Food Network.
He studied at Westlane Middle School and North Central High School. He then enrolled in Grahm College.
He started his career as a standup comedian and also as a radio Dj. Marc also got his breakthrough from the American television game show, Double Dare on Nickelodeon he hosted. After the show he hosted became popular, Marc started hosting other shows like Couch Potatoes, and What Would You Do? Mystery Magical Show, Nollywood Square, and others.
He got a severe head injury which made the show come to the verge of an end. He continued working and relieved everyone that he is back, though he previously had an obsessive-compulsive disorder within himself and he also got in an accident.
He revealed his condition on various television shows including The Opera Winfrey Show and Today, Summers said, “Everything on the left side of his face from my eye socket down was just wiped out. My eye socket got all swollen. I am having trouble seeing completely out of the left eye… There are lots of VCR parts on my face. I was pretty lucky that I didn’t have brain damage.”
