Carl Lance Brisson was born on 7 May 1943 in Los Angeles Country, California United States. He is the son of Fredrick Brisson, a well-known producer and actor and his wife the famous actress Rosalind Russell.

Lance Brisson is 79 years old as of 2022. He was a former executive director of California’s business Labor Council. On 15 March 1975 Lance married Patricia Morrow an actress when he was 31 years. 

Though he was the son of two famous actors, Lance Brisson wasn’t all over the place, he was much secretive about his private life.  Cary Grant was responsible for his parents having met and was the best man at Frederick and Rosalind’s wedding.

His father had been traveling from England to the United States by ship in 1939, and The Women was playing on an endless loop during the voyage. After hearing the audio for the film day after day while traveling, he decided he had better sit down and watch the whole film. He became so enamored with Russell’s performance as Sylvia Fowler that he turned to his friends and proclaimed: “I’m either gonna kill that girl, or I’m gonna marry her”.

Lance Brisson’s wife Patricia Morrow

Lance’s wife Patricia was a former television actress who was best known for portraying the character of waif-like Rita Jacks in the primetime soap opera Peyton Place from 1965 to 1969.

Patricia was born on 17 February 1944 in Los Angeles, California, United States.

She began her career in 1953 with the role of Constance Philbrick in the movie I Led 3 Lives. She also appeared in films like Ma and Pa Kettle at home in 1954, Artists and Models in 1955, Bad Seed in 1956, and The wrong man in 1957.

Patricia’s biggest role was in the tv show Peyton Place from 1965 to 1969 and then in 1972, she was part of the sequel Return to Peyton Place. In 1985 she made her last screen appearance in the made-for-television film Peyton Place: The Next Generation where is repeated her role as Rita Jacks.

Patricia became a lawyer and after her divorce from Lance in 1982, she adopted a baby girl.

Lance’s mother Rosalind Russell  

Catherine Rosalind Russell was born on 4 June 1907 in Waterbury, Connecticut. She was an American actress, screenwriter, singer, and comedian.

Lance’s mother was the daughter of Jame Edward, a lawyer, and Clara A. Russell, a teacher.  Rosalind’s family, the Russells were an Irish-American, Catholic family.

Rosalind attended Catholic schools, which includes the Women’s-only Rosemount College in Rosemount, Pennsylvania, and Marymount College in Tarrytown New York.  She then attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

She is best known for her Comedic and dramatic roles in films like, Auntie Mame, His Girl Friday and Gypsy.

Lance Brisson‘s parents’ death

Rosalind was introduced to her husband Fredrick Brisson a Danish-American producer by Cary Grant. On 25 October, 1941 Rosalind and Fredrick got married. The couple had their son Lance on 1943 and remained for 35 years till Rosalind died.

Rosalind suffered from breast cancer during her late years and died on 28 November 1976. She was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.
