The much anticipated album of American rapper, singer, songwriter,Kanye Omari West,‘Donda’ has been released.
The album is available on streaming platforms like Spotify.
Fans of the rapper are excited to finally get to listen to the highly anticipated Donda album on streaming services.
Hours after the release of the album record producer Kanye West has claimed that Universal ‘blocked’ his song with DaBaby.
The American rapper has accused his record label, Universal of releasing the album without his consent.
The 44-year-old rapper took to his verified social media account,instagram to make this known.
He wrote on instagram ,
“Universal put my album out without my approval,” .
HollywoodLife has reached out to Universal Records for comment on the post.
According to Kanye West,the company has blocked his song “Jail 2” which featured artist DaBaby.
However,a glance at Spotify lists,the track, it is the only song that is grayed out and unable to be played.
DaBaby has been under fire for recent homophobic remarks.
Kanye said,
“And they blocked Jail 2 from the album,”.
His post was written in a black text against a crisp white background.
The rapper did not further include any additional comment on his post.
His post has nearly gained one million likes in under an hour.
The Donda album before it release has be scheduled for numerous dates.
Initially, the album was to be released after his July listening party at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia,it was not released.
Then again after his second listening event but the album didn’t drop either at that time.
Kanye west then held a third listening event in his native of Chicago, Illinois.
Kim Kardashian made a mysterious appearance in a white wedding gown designed by Balenciaga (the brand’s designer Demna Gvasaliaa is also serving as Kanye’s creative director for his listening events).
Kim attended the two Atlanta events wearing head-to-toe Balenciaga to match ‘Ye the Chicago one marked the first she participated in.
Initially at the listening party, Kanye west made reference to his on-going split from Kim as he repeatedly rapped, “I’m losing my family, I’m losing my family, I’m losing my family” as the SKIMS founder and their four kids North who is 8, Saint who is 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2 sat in the audience.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for Donda to appear online and it is now out.
